Donate
Eckerd is one of Tampa Bay’s largest charities serving abused, neglected and at-risk children. When you donate to Eckerd, you are giving to an organization with 40+ years experience helping children and families in your community. Donations are tax deductible, and you can designate where you would like your donation to go. Or make a contribution to our annual fund to help where it is needed most. Learn more.
Advocate
There are many opportunities to get involved in an advocacy role to support the important work of Eckerd. Below are links to just a few of Florida’s child advocacy websites where you can find information on crucial children’s issues:
Foster
Today’s foster parents provide temporary care for children removed from their parents due to abuse or neglect, and help bring stability to their lives during a time of trauma. Individuals and couples are needed in Florida’s Pinellas and Pasco counties to be champions for children in foster care by becoming their foster parents. Learn more.
Adopt
You don’t have to be perfect to be the perfect parent for an Eckerd foster child. Children in foster care don’t need perfection; they need the commitment and love a forever family can provide. In Florida’s Pinellas and Pasco counties, there are over a hundred children at any given time who need forever, adoptive homes. Learn more.
Help for the Holidays
Although support is needed all year, our children and families have special needs during the holidays ranging from holiday gifts to food baskets – and a gift from the heart will help ensure they have an even brighter holiday season. Contact us to learn more.
